ESPN announcers now work for Boston?

    I get it if this is an NBA tv game where they use home team announcers.. but this isn't. This one dude is more for Boston than Craig Ackerman is for Houston. Listen to this guy. Sorry had to vent. Deserves its own thread.

    Why do they have an 86 year old announcing games anyways? It’s not like he’s insightful or entertaining. He’s boring and often senile getting names wrong.

    Hubie is always rooting for the underdog... Usually against the rockets.. Even though the Celtics have more wins less losses than us

    Because it creates media narratives. These commentators make the public hate our team and it gives the league leeway to stick their ref hit men on us.

    They should retire his old ass. Imagine him having a heart attack during the broadcast when the rockets knock out his favorite teams.

    Wouldn’t be a good look for ESPN..

    Though knowing them they will milk it and spend a whole week doing segments on it for views honoring his life as a broadcaster.

    Just cause you old doesn’t mean you are good
