I agree, but I'm also hoping he practices shooting. Why not do it in the all star contest?

Has a Rockets player ever participated in both the 3pt and dunk contests at any point in their career?

I remember Kenny in the dunk contest but don't think he ever did the 3pt shootout.

Pretty sure T-Mac never did either.

If I recall, Kenny did both in the same year.

Edit: yep, participated in both in 1993. I believe still the only player in NBA history to do so (others have participated in both but not the same year)

Awesome, nothing wrong with having two Rockets participating in the All star events. I have a feeling he'll do better than Harden did in the 3pt contest. I hope Klay, Curry and Durant are all included in there too... so they can use up more energy instead of resting during the break. ;):D

Its going to be lit in Nawlins and in order for it to be lit, Gordon has to light something. That something will be currys punk ass.

    Nice!

All of these years and I didn't realize Kenny participated in both.

Remember Steve Francis in the dunk contest in 2000? Chase Budinger was also in a dunk contest but can't recall what year. Didn't James Harden compete in the 3 point contest 2 or 3 years ago?

Yes, but the question was how many Rockets have done both.

Three point shootout and dunk contest.

Klay has had a bad season by his standards and expectations

Ego has had a great season based on the expectations

I expect Ego to once again exceed expectations and trump Klay
