Bledsoe by far ATM. They look similar just by per 36, but Bledsoe is so much better at getting to the line.
Damn, could you imagine Bledsoe & Westbrook on the floor at the same time? Maybe with Sefalosha out there too? Ouch... they'd create all kinds of chaos. Jackson can shoot but you can replace shooting easy.
Ummmm... Some context to your question? Nick Young or Nate Robinson Mozgov or Koufas Rondo or John Wall Caron Butler or Granger etc. etc. -Bledsoe goes into free agency this Summer restricted, and Jackson has another year on his rookie deal so who knows who has more value because we dont know what the market looks like next Summer for Jackson, but we do have a good idea about Bledsoe's market. Bledsoe has had his chance at the beginning of this season to show wether or not he can be a franchise type of player, and produced well, but didn't have the James Harden type of breakout performance that Phoenix might have been hoping for. He looks to be a solid defensive PG that can play the 1 or the 2, and get you 15 to 28 ppg in a starring role. IMO he's not worth a max contract, but he might very well get one. Only way he lives up to it is if the team paying him needs him to be that 2nd or 3rd banana playing off of a great offensive player (Like a James Harden). -Jackson has played well as the starter with Westbrook out, but really hasn't shown anything to allow me to think he could be a star in the league. However I think he can be a very solid starter, and plays excellent defense for his position. I do think that OKC should look to move him in the off-season for a PF they can count on (maybe a Millsap or Josh Smith level) and move Ibaka to the 5. If Westbrook is healthy and he's your #2 star, I think you need better balance on your roster, and a Reggie Jackson trade should allow that type of move to happen. When Jackson moves on to another team, I think we will know a little bit more about him offensively, but I dont see him having the star level talent. I think its a wash in the end probably, but Bledsoe IMO will get paid a hell of alot more unless Jackson goes to a new team, and explodes offensively.
I'm not talking about market value. Strictly as players. Which is the better basketball player? I am kinda surprised at the magnitude of this poll for Bledsoe. I posted this while watching the OKC/PHX game yesterday. I though Bledsoe had a bad game. I thought Jackson handled him defensively very well and forced him into turnovers and contested shots.
This is not even close... Jackson is benefiting SO much from the attention KD gets. Bledsoe's best runningmate is Dragic... Gogi is good, but not even close to Durant's level obviously, nor does he draw the same kind of defensive attention.
