last night this joker had more fouls than pts,assist, blocks, steals and rebounds combined and he’s starting. I would rather see Green start. How do you play most of your minutes with harden and Paul and come up with that worthless stat line
I’ve tried to like him because he hustles, but he is not very skilled and to top it off, he has no basketball iq
I didn’t realize the drop off would be so steep from Luc to Ennis. I knew he wouldn’t be as skilled defensively but I thought he’d at least be comparable. The lack of any skilled 2-way forward (outside of PJ) has just been disastrous.
I’m a cup half full person and have tried to be the level headed person around here But Morey totally screwed this team up. They’re all saying the right things in the locker room, but the glaring issues will remain until the personnel changes
Didn't Green sprain his ankle on that chop-block? Our already bad depth keeps taking hits. But honestly, the way this team is built, this is on Paul and Harden. Think of it like a car. Harden is the engine, Paul is the gearbox/transmission. They're going to have the biggest effect on the drive. Capela and Tucker are important components, say power steering and suspension. Everyone else is peripheral parts. Headlights. Washer fluid pump. Right now this car's engine isn't running right, and the trim is falling off left and right. The Warriors are cruising in a Veyron that daddy gave them for free. Everyone here is really upset about Ennis and Melo who are just the cracks in the windshield that they can't see past.
He's been underwhelming, but still usually has some contribution outside of last night. Give Clark some time to prove himself and he'll start eventually I think. .
Green need to Start would work Bring Ennis EG Melo Hartenstein Clark off the bench. Green needs to be there to keep the court stretched for Harden and Paul. This will allow whoever is playing well to be plugged in more seamlessly than we are doing now. Whenever everyone is shooting badly analytics don't work as well as the eye test. Mike D'antoni needs to gut check up and make the adjustments needed not the ones that are politically correct.
A crack in the windshield can't ever move a car, while role players can and should win games for us here and there. We lost two main components. Like WHEELS, rather than power steering. Even if Melo and Ennis are cracks in a windshield, they were brought here to replace the two main components we lost (in impact, if not type). Not to mention, there's a limited number of components you can add, so the presence of one takes opportunity away from another. Right now Carmelo Anthony might be complaining to Morey to take minutes away from Clark and give them to him. These car parts voluntarily interact with each other. Everyone on the team collectively is the engine and transmission. Harden and Paul just happen to account for more of it. Components are more like coaches or uniforms or management.
