Gotta love the confidence from the newcomer! We're gonna roll with this squad if we can keep it injury free. So many weapons, so many matchups to take advantage of.

"Yes we can. A lot of power. A lot of offensive power. A lot of defensive power. Bringing in Carmelo who is an offensive threat. Michael Carter-Williams is a good guard, he can score the ball, his length. If everyone is healthy, we’ll definitely beat them." -James BB Ennis the third

    CP3/Michael Carter Williams/Brandon Knight
    MVP/Eric Gordon
    Tuckwagon/Ennis/Gerald Green
    Melo/Marquese Chriss
    Capela/Nene/Hartenstein

That is good because Ennis could not with his other teams and he is far from being a household name to announce things like that. Out of the blue.

Memphis was not good last seasons.

Without Ennis Rox managed to beat the Warriors 3x out of 7. And in most wins Chris did the heavy load.

Let them games do the talking!

That's Houston's own, WNBA star, Chiney Ogwumike. She reps Houston despite being from Tomball (*cough* Jimmy *cough* Butler). However, she isn't a big Neo-Rockets fan despite growing up in the culture.. Disappointing. She doesn't dismiss the Rockets as much as her colleagues at ESPN. She isn't a hater, but I wouldn't call her an ally either.

It seems like she tolerates the Rockets because she is from the city. In the clip she says the Rockets are sort of her team. I felt no energy from her when the Rockets were in the WCF.

Or say it when they are down 0-3 in a series.

Or she's being held against her will, and forced to say such things, so ESPN can say, "See, we hired a player/fan from Houston to offset Beadle's UTSA upbringing, and even she doesn't like the Rockets much....we tried, what can we do?"

    media conspiracy

    No I don't.

I like my newcomers the same way I like my Uber drivers. Quiet, and ready to get the job done.

It triggers me when I see people laugh when they talk about the Rockets beating the Warriors.

Could the Rockets fall to the Warrior? Sure, but it's far from laughable and could very well happen

Honestly, the thing in this video that gets me most excited is the talk that Ariza might come back for the playoffs. I know people in here have ragged on him, but that guy busted his tail for us on defense for a phenomenal number of minutes per game, and kept us close when we otherwise wouldn't have been.

What’s annoying about this delusional belief is that it will be talked about consistently on this board until the deadline for playoff eligible buyouts passes. The Phoenix front office are obviously aware missing the playoffs is a very possible scenario. So why would they buy out Ariza after signing him for $15 million just because they’re not competing? Trevor Ariza is not coming back to Houston in the 2018-19 season.
