The 2018-19 Season is over after another playoff exit to Golden State, but this was not our year from the start. But still, our window closed tonight. However, huge kudos to the outstanding play and hustle from: PJ Tucker: This man played like he was an all star. Eric Gordon: From 6 man in 2017 to a strong finisher and essiential piece to this year's series Nene: He only played for short bursts but when he was on the court he was a man among boys. Some Kudos: Harden: He played as well as he could. He was putting up all star numbers and making plays. But he will never be an NBA champion and he faded when Curry and Klay stepped up tonight. Paul: Great showing in Game 6, but like Harden, he will never be an NBA champion and his career is about over. Shumpert: He had some good flashes of defense and it's sad to think he is the only NBA champion on our roster. The following players get no Kudos: Capella: His play lost us the series. I want to credit the Warrior's for shutting him down, but he made so many bad plays this series on his own that he gets more credit for his poor performance. If he could give back his contract, he should. Green: A lot of heart, but no brain. This team should be dismantled and rebuilt. We are no longer in win now mode and it is time for the Rockets to explore the wilderness for the next 3 to 5 years and maybe build a super team organically. It hurts but that's the only way. See you guys in a few years. Trust the process.
Kudos to the Rockets for getting punked on their home floor yet again and continuing to be a doormat for the Warriors despite being “obsessed with beating them” for 5 years.
