Would be great for the NBA if he proves to be as good as Davis on offense. I'm rooting for it, since he's in the East, and would be fun to watch with Simmons.
If Simmons manages to become what scouts think he can become, and if Embiid doesn't get re-injured, that combo might be the most fun duo to watch in quite a long time. However, that's quite a few IFs.
So while here, does anyone else notice Davis has an issue with conditioning and gets more noticeably tired later in the game than most players? The media are covering this up but if you look for it it is very obvious.
Based on what we've seen Embid has looked great!! and that's only been a small sample, he still has a lot more room to develop his game. However if I had to put money on it.. I'd take the safer pick in Towns.
Not saying KAT is better overall, but man, I do give him the nod on offense over Embiid, so far. Towns versus Deandre Jordan was quit impressive last night
If healthy, Embiid is a far better player right now. He's an impact defensive player while KAT is one of the worst defensive C's in the league. Embiid's health is a massive if at this point though.
https://theringer.com/the-sixers-are-surging-no-seriously-1ba309be239#.9fv78ydfk Injury permitting, Embiid any day. Turning the franchise around.
At what point does injury concerns dampen Embiid's value? Because He has been injuried so many times since coming into the league.
Lol KaT all day every day. As long as the guy isnt lacking in effort and athletecism, anybody can play good defense I mean look at Dirk and Pau Gasol these guys started out as extreme defensive liabilities but became passable defenders later on. So in the case of KaT he's already a good defender and will improve more as he gets experience. On the other hand offensive power is not a sure thing, Dwight has been working on his post game since he was a rookie even now he still sucks at it. So if we look at it while they might be even now KaT will outpace Embiid as they both grow older. I mean just look at Embids legs, at best those will limit his aggresiveness in the court and workouts in the summer and at worst he will have a shortened career like Oden or Brandon Roy.
