Durant just said they knew we'd tire out in the 2nd half

they knew the refs would step in and give them a lead and they would take it from there.

Definitely true in the last 2 games, CP3 was tired af and played well before that.

Obviously they were worn out. They missed every shot.

Kind of a dickish thing to say even if true. From what I gather Russell and Harden are still cool with each out of that trio and neither are with Durant so much.

F Durant. No backbone. Just ran off to join the Warriors bc he couldn’t beat them. Knew he couldn’t do anything himself, has to have another hall of fame level, mvp player, and a handful of all-stars to get the job done. Oh, and gets the most superstar treatment I’ve ever seen. Wasn’t he called for no fouls over like 6 consecutive quarters? Shut up, KD

The level of defense it takes to keep the Warriors in check just so you can have a shot at actually winning is unbelievably high, we saw that energy drop quickly in the second half of game 6 (which is understandable, being on the road and not getting any calls).

I thought the rockets would have a shot in this game of sustaining that energy throughout just due to the crowd, but the price for it, I think anyways, were their legs. I just don't think they had the same lift when shooting threes in the second half.

The terrible shooting is the price you have to pay for playing unreal defense, and yet we only lost by 9 without CP3. We have Chris, we win this game, no doubt in my mind. The Rockets figured out an actual strategy in Game 4 (crazy defense, slow game down) to beat the Warriors, and it worked for Games 4, 5, and the first half of Game 6. It almost worked in Game 7, but the basketball gods were merciless to our Point God.

And Oh, f*** that cupcake b***, couldn't make any shots until Steph saved their a**
