I know we have all done it. We have all been there before, where we irresponsibly get behind the wheel of a car after having too much to drink. We have let friends leave when we shouldn't have. I bring this up because an old very close friend of mine has now ruined his life and his victims life because of this. This is a horrible reminder that we all need to take control of ourselves when we let loose. http://keyetv.com/news/local/austin-police-are-on-the-scene-of-a-deadly-crash-in-round-rock **Update** The victim was a two time combat veteran on his way to the Airport for an interview in Cali with Google.
If you want 3 years of your life controlled by the State...then go ahead and keep testing it. That's just for 1 btw. It's not worth it!
I-35 is largely a grounded highway, not raised like many Houston highways. In that area, the feeder roads have a shallow grass ditch that's easily crossed by any vehicle. More than likely, though, he went the wrong way on the feeder and entered on an exit ramp. I don't have much sympathy for drunk drivers, but RIP to the innocent motorcyclist. I do have sympathy for the drunk driver's family/friends, so sorry to OP, too.
Even as an adult, I'm not ashamed to call my father. Luckily my favorite bar is directly between our houses.
Exactly. Never have drank and drive. Never driven buzzed. Partly because I don't drink. Partly because it's wildly ridiculous. Please use uber or a cab.
this it's not that hard. If I know I'm going out to drink I won't even bring my car, I Uber or Light Rail
You have to be ****face wasted to be driving the wrong way on the freeway for 11 miles. Pretty sure not many of us have done that.
hope that dumbass gets the death penalty or at least life..the wrong person died in that accident...smh..
Yeah, this was a huge cluster ****, not only did one guy mess up 2 lives, he also messed up families and friends lives. I hate hearing about this ****, it's like people are so selfish... if you want to drink or do drugs stay home or get a ride, there's no reason for this. And if you can't control yourself then ****ing do us a favor and get help or move to an island alone. I only hope the motorcycle guy didn't suffer, so sad for loss of life. I mean **** happens and people die, but you shouldn't have to lose your life or your family/friends/love ones to this senseless bull****. I mean he was going the wrong way and so blitzed that cops couldn't stop him, Wtf.
Parts of 35 are hilly, and I know around this spot there's various ramps and obstacles also slight curve. I wonder if the drunk even had lights on, I was thinking on this too though, I bet this guy was so drunk he was attracted to the lights from the bike.
