12 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals tonight against the Grizz. Only had 4 pts in the game. Don't see that very often at all.
Warriors forward Draymond Green has recorded the first triple-double in NBA history with fewer than 10 points scored (via Elias Sports Bureau)
I guess this is what happens when you call out Durant during games...the team doesn't help you get your 10 pts for the quad double. "Scoring's gotta be in the flow of the offense, man. Like you keep preaching to us."
ESPN Stats and Information Draymond Green is the first player in NBA history to record 10 steals and 5 blocks in a game. Steals and blocks have been official statistics since the 1973-74 season (via Elias Sports Bureau). NBA 2m
Hakeem has done 10 Blocks and 5 Steals FOUR times, though. With Robinson the only other player, doing it once. And he's 2nd to Draymond's stat, doing 8 Steals and 5 Blocks, two times (along with Jordan once and Kirilenko once).
When you get a triple double with steals, boards and assists and there is still 3 minutes left in the game with a sizable lead, I would think your teammates would hand you the ball to score every time down the court. Instead he comes out of the game with 1:44 left in the game. Somewhere Harden is say'n "F that, I'm getting my stats biatch!"
Draymond Green is perfect for a championship team, because he'll do everything but score. However, on his own team? He'd scrub it pretty hard. I
morey should take notice! gsw developed multiple stars within, they didnt traded for them...later on the biggest FA star offered himself on the plate, they didnt needed to chase him... and this guy went from being a bench player to star and a champion within a single year dekker and trez need more playing time
Whoa, you're right. That's not an assist. Let's start the campaign now. Everyone tweet out that video with 12-9-10 #alternativefacts@235
Remember when Chandler Portions called Draymond Green a scrub? LOL. Remember when Chandler Portions declared himself best SF in the series and then Batum ate his lunch? LOL Anyway, Draymond was picked in the 2nd round. Sooner or later Maury will have to find an all star caliber player from one of his lower picks. SOmeone like a Draymond or a Marc Gasol or a Jimmy Butler etc or even a stud like a Jokic
It's funny to me how Morey is noted for going after the talented, undersized bigs because the bigs bigs were gone at the 14th pick. PPatt, Morris, TJones, and the main one Royce White, so you know he looks for them. Yet he misseed Draymond in a year we had 3 picks. whoops....he didn't see what he was looking for on that one, for sure course, I'm also thanking the bball gods for once again protecting the Rockets from getting a dick player on the team.
Oh yeah that Royce White dude who was supposed to be our Draymond Green - a point forward who could do everything, LOL It begs the question - Is Maury just unable to draft such players or are the Rockets just not able to develop these players much like other teams. Would a Draymond be a Draymong if he was here, would Marc Gasol or Jimmy Butler have developed in the same way if they were here. I can't remember the last player we drafted and retained who turned out to be an all star, if any.
This question always seems to me like huge disrespect to the players who do the developing. It reads like players need absolutely perfect matches to ever develop full potential. Yes, of course, everyone needs a coaching staff and development assistants, but always reads like "You'll never be a winner without Team Penske." ... well, they do have the best cars ugh--now we just sidetracked this thread. I'm blaiming you FTW Rockets FTW
