Sweetheart real-estate deals from lobbyists, that he then lied over, No-show jobs and sneaky maneuevers to get raises for his flunkies and his polluter bros, Custom-build cone of silence, "$1000 "first-class" plane travel on 45-minute DC-to-NYC shuttle flights (note, I have taken this flight probably over 100x - the difference between first/business and coach is incredibly negligible, the plane ticket though is about 1/3 of the price)....

... and that doesn't even take into to account that he is literally violating his oath of office very minute of every day by failing to enforce this nation's environmental protection laws.

When even comically corrupt graft hog like Chris Christie feels comfortable dancing on your grave and you'regetting beat down by Fox News/state TV interviews, it's a problem.

Congratulations, Scott, you might be the WORST IN WASHINGTON this week.

    On a side note...

Why do people take shuttle flights in the Northeast anymore? The Acela takes 3 hours which is arguable faster than the flight given you go from downtown to downtown without a need to clear security. Back in the day, shuttle flights didn't need to go through security screenings and you were guaranteed a seat on walk up but those days are long gone.

If you are coming from/going to Northern VA, particularly Arlington or Alexandria, National Airport is easier to get to than Union Station and security is pretty quick. A 6 or 7 AM flight can get you there by 2.5 hours, the wild card is the LGA taxi ride.

Sounds like the perfect candidate to become Attorney General.

Actually makes sense why Trump wants him for AG. I think since he's already confirmed by Congress, he doesn't have to be confirmed again, and if there is one member of the admin that is brazenly corrupt enough to fire Mueller and turn the DOJ into Trump own personal mafia law firm, its Pruitt.

He would have to get confirmed again. And I doubt he'd get confirmed this time around. Collins voted no last time and now that he's not regulating drilling, Murkowski would probably vote against him too while the Democrats who voted for him would probably flip as well. He would be a disaster of a nominee.

Is that true? Doesn't it have to go through a separate committee for a different cabinet office?

they don't even try to hide it anymore. Just throw a "mexicans are raping like we've never seen before" line amidst the scandal and everyone looks away. all right, guys, look into the screen so your memory can be erased.

Am trying to make sense of this. Here are my only cognitive options:

    1. Low bar. Other picks were more horrible. (But no, Mattis and McMaster were much better. Even Tillerson.)
    2. You think EPA was overreaching, and even though this guy is a corrupt, science-averse moron, that beats the old EPA iterations. (I would disagree with your take but could understand you taking this position, given paranoia of "big government").
    3. You actually applaud a corrupt chump like Pruitt.

I'm hoping it's just #2. In fact, I'm sure it's all #2 when it comes to Pruitt.

I wish I could find a luxury downtown condo to occasionally stay in and only pay $50/night.
