He has some elite skills, but I think he was in desperate need of a real player development coach, not whatever passes for that in Phoenix
@malakas' grandmother used to tell him stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Greek kept balance between the Celtic Tribes, Magic Kingdom, Sun Nation, and Thunder Nomads. But that all changed when the Sun Nation attacked. Only the Freak mastered all four elements. Only he could stop the ruthless Dragan Benders. But when the Bucks needed him most, he vanished.
Dude has the perfect player to mold his game after (Brook Lopez), comes onto a team that expects very little of him (so no pressure) and he gets to play with a team and front office that actually cares about winning games. AND he's only 21? This is a super low risk, super high reward for the Bucks. And if Bender remotely looks like Brook Lopez by the all-star break, look out East.
Honestly feel like this change in scenery might be really good for him. Takes him away from a noncompetitive lax environment into the East-leading Bucks team with the MVP. Maybe "look out East" was too much, but it's still low risk, high reward.
In 2017-2018 (his age 20 season), he hit on 37% 3s on over 300 attempts. A guy who’s north of 7 feet tall and can do that can have a spot in this league. He may end up the next Tskitishvilli, but it’s not a bad flier pickup.
