Yes...the Mavs are getting better, the Jazz are struggling. They will play better in the playoffs...Stockton and Malone will rally the troops; but the Mavs have too many guns...Finley, Dirk and Howard are a tough matchup for Utah. Nash vs Stockton will be a dandy. Mavs in 6.

If the Mavs win in 6, during their first round matchup, the Jazz had better file a complaint.

Was it a typo? The answer to the next question re: Por/LA:

Too many personnel changes, too much controversy, too many egos for the Blazers to get a strong team game going. They split the season series with the Lakers, however, and feel a win there would offset the disappointments of the season. That's possible, but not probable...Lakers in 6.

    I see a trend here.

He made the mistakes in his chat yesterday.

I also like how he says, "It wasn't the intention of the rules committee to encourage teams to play zone."

...and how he goes on trying to convince himself the NBA won't play too much zone.

Hey Dr. Jack, I bet it wasn't the intention of the rules committee to encourage teams to play so much isolation, either.

Maybe he made the mistake because a few questions earlier, people had been asking him about series that may occur after the first round.
