First we need a Point Guard that can be the secondary ball handler, that can shoot and play good Defense like a Goran/Conley player... and two we need to hire Rick back.

I agree, get the ball out of harden hands. We need a True PG.

    Get rid of Howard?

Clearly you haven't kept up with the playoffs

Didn't someone say "the Rockets are so predictable"?

[rquoter]When coaches like Carlisle and Gregg Popovich have time to hone their game plans against a single opponent, suddenly that corner 3 that was there all year dries up, or that basic defensive rotation that was rock-solid all season is coming a second too late. In the playoffs, teams with limited game plans get exposed. Conveniently, Cuban believes that Houston, his team’s first-round opponent in this season’s playoffs, is one of the most one-dimensional teams in the playoffs.

“[The biggest difference is] practice time. There’s no more predictable team than the Rockets. You know exactly what they’re gonna do,” he says. “But James Harden is so good. That’s what analytics have begot. Right? Predictability. If you know what the percentages are, in the playoffs, you have time to counter them. Whether you’re good enough to do it is another question. Because they are very talented, and James Harden, I think, is the MVP. Because that’s not a very good team over there.”[/rquoter]

Him and JJ AND Deandre Jordan parked in the paint. With JJ going for no fakes and daring Harden to go at Jordan.

DOC told JJ not to jump on any of the dribble moves or fakes. Harden was forced to take a step back jumper but he looks scared to do that

for those saying harden can blow past jj, sure he can but once he does that deandre or blake will block his shot or matt barnes will draw a charge... harden is making the right play by passing to wide open shooters... they just keep bricking( ariza, brewer)

Can you blame him? Last year against the Blazers when the refs swallowed their whistles he kept attacking with no success. This time he tried to create for others. Maybe he should have attacked more but he was responsible for 40 of the Rockets 76 points through 3 quarters. I'm not putting this loss on Harden. This team has to play better defense and they have to get another ball handler that defenses have to worry about.

People seem to forget that the 94 and 95 championship teams got blown out in the playoffs more than once. I mean this team has a lot to prove, but it's not like the season is over because we lost by 25. They need to win the next 2 games to take control of this series. It's something they are capable of. They will correct a lot of mistakes between now and Sunday. Simple as that.

I like your optimism. Especially after the Rockets have lost two games by 41 points. Two games where CP3 has only played 23 minutes combined.

What do you expect on a team that considers mid range shots the worst shot in the game? Kawhi Leonard would have a terrible mid range game too if we had drafted him.

I know Ariza is bricking shots left and right, but without him, we might be giving up a 150 points a game in this series lol.

Exactly this and we knew it before the play-offs started. 90% of people here posted about the problem with our 3 point philisophy, because you just cannot get those shots in the play-offs. Even if we do get or teams in general get them, you're not going to shoot a high percentage in every game. Unless you have great shooters, we have maybe one, they have three or four.
