This guy is litterally being guarded by 2 to 3 guys from the back court for the last 5 games...has anyone been this good to even have this much attention? I don't see Jordan, Kobe, curry or lebron getting guarded like this. Harden is just too crazy...it sucks that harden lagacy will be ruin because he never play with all stars like lebron, curry and durant to get the ring...will feel really bad if he doesn't get his ring. This guy is the most dominating player to ever hit the hard floor.

It's crazy how defenses are surrounding him... What's crazier is that he still scoring at a high level..

What's crazier than that is there should be 1-2 wide open players but the scrubs can't score.. SMH..

This. We are getting wide open looks and missing at a high rate. These are practice shots. Imagine have a couple of consistent 40% 3pt shooters.

We should be killing teams if our damn role players could hit a stupid open shot.

It's kind of entertaining to hear the media act as if the past few games are indications of how the trapping and doubling/tripling is evidence of it working.
With out Clint and Paul...yes, it's a pretty good idea. With Capela and Paul on the court together? That would get ugly....fast.

    Exactly.

Normally Gordon should be able to benefit from all the attention and so should Rivers and anyone else but it feels like these guys all go hot or cold all at the same exact time...

This. Have fun defending 3 on 4 with Chris Paul handling the ball.

With how bad the role players are playing and how good James is playing this is the only thing to do. But playing like this will not work with a healthy Rockets team.

It is amazing to me how easily Harden still scores with the attention he is getting. Teams are triple teaming him and he still scored 50 with a great efficiency. I actually believe the way teams play harden now will help him in the play offs. The pressure he is receiving cannot go up in the play offs, so he is already used to it. he has already seen every possible defense against him. And he is till lighting it up.

This truly is one of the most dominant offensive showcase ever. Simply amazing.

its hard to watch sometimes. especially if the opposing team is hitting their shot. i cant understand how harden can hit his step back with someone guarding him and yet when he passed it to an open teammate in the corner its a missed shot. and on our OWN home COURT at that. is it mental? lack of focus? not enough practice?

Nobody was fullcourt pressing him until Scottie Pippen and T-Mac had a segment on how Scottie would guard him smh

Pretty much this. Teams are only doing it because they know everyone else on our team is a 0 on offense.

To be honest, you put either 4 of those guys in Harden's spot on this team, and opposing teams will do the exact same thing. Aside from the 2007 and 2016 Cavs, those 4 guys have always had either a good team around them or another guy on the floor to relieve the pressure (Pippen, Gasol, Thompson/Durant, Love/Irving)
