Ryan Anderson . 418 Chris Paul . 408 James Harden .406 Luc Mbah a Moute .403 Trevor Ariza . 396 We know Eric Gordon can be much better, so that's 5 guys with a legitimate threat from three not counting Mbah who only takes 2.8 and makes 1.1. The other guys are all capable of high volume games and they know they have to guard us. Rocket launchers are set!!
We generally regress after the New Year and slowly normalize after the break. Sad that it's the same members making these threads at the same time year after year. It's like a script you've already read before. Hope the Rockets change up the ending.
The Rockets only completely dedicated themselves to this current offense last season, and that was with 2 key guys that are new to the roster (Ryno and Gordon). They should improve naturally with being more accustomed to the current offense, so it should be more sustainable. Other than Mbah a Moute (who has very low volume anyways), all the other shooting percentages seem reasonable and not out of the ordinary. You can make a case for Harden, but Harden has improved every season since coming to Houston so I wouldn't bet against it.
