I hate to say it, but the Jazz got a steal here. They traded Trey Lyles and Tyler Lydon for this guy. Two busts for a legit rookie. He's got 8 games of 20 points or more already and scored 41 points against the Pelicans. Pretty nice performance for two teams battling for spots near the bottom of the West.

I watched last nights game dude can flat out score. I like his game a lot.

Only limitation that I was able to see is he’s undersized for a scoring guard IMO. We will see how much it matters.

    He has Hardens respect

Poor man's Eric Gordon. They are so similar, it scares me.

Makes loosing Gordon a lot easier to get over.

He is an inefficient chucker right now.

Hopefully he can grow and gain some efficiency, but right now he shoots a lot just to shoot a lot.

And tbh, Utah kinda needs someone not scared to shoot and take the shots so it works there.

He has shown some flashes tho but I wouldn’t say best of the draft.

Although, his last game against the pelicans was very impressive

gordon hayward was dumb to leave

hayward, mitchell, favors, gobert, burks, and hood would be a nice team for years

Utah is taking to Mitchell like NY to JLin during Linsanity. the broadcast even had his picture on the ad they showed selling Jazz tickets, He's fearless whether trying to dunk over Cuz or taking a game winning 3, they even let him shoot the tech that Gentry got on one play. It's early and we saw from Linsanity that a player can have a great stretch of games and it's insignificant to their overall career but I think this kid has the goods.

Well he is only about 20 games in on his rookie year so yeah I'd expect some additional growth.

I thought EJ comparison as well.

Compact stroke w range from deep.
Smaller 2 guard but with good athleticism and strength.
    Decent pick and roll player.
    Above average handles.

I would say that EJ's main advantage when he was young is that he was able to get to the foul line frequently.

All in all, he and Gobert are the teams' foundation.
    They draft pretty well.

Loved him at L'ville and as a draft prospect. He has incredible length and can actually shoot unlike a lot of long armed players. Bright future for the kid.

Fultz isn't even playing, what kind of lameass post is this?

No **** they look better than someone playing. Let's re-visit this in 3, 4 years.
