75% of all domestic terrorism is caused by white men.. We aren't even talking about all the stuff that gets foiled by the authorities. It's not only right-wing terrorist. The one liberal guy that shot the republican congressman was white.

White people are easily triggered and are dangerous. facts.

Or he could at least look at some factual info and perhaps even read the WaPo piece for some historical comparisons.

The Anti-Defamation League’s Center on Extremism reports that right-wingers and white supremacists were responsible for 74 percent of the murders committed by political extremists in the United States over the past decade. Only 2 percent were committed by left-wing radicals. Alex Nowrasteh, an immigration policy analyst at the libertarian Cato Institute, has calculated that “terrorists inspired by Nationalist and Right Wing ideology have killed about 10 times as many people as Left Wing terrorists since 1992.”

A guy states a very simple idea that can be backed up by statistical evidence and it is liberal insanity?

The numbers do support his claim. That being said ive stated plenty of times in gun control that i dont think mass shootings are a problem at all at least in terms of changes in law

You're right that being said i just don't think its a big problem.

I know that seems stupid but not 200 people are killed in these incidents. Thats less than 1 in a million people annually.

    wtf did I just read?

If Don Lemon said he didn't think terrorism was a big problem you would would have drafted a Clutchfans thread about liberal insanity... no big deal a few thousand people get killed a year.

Is it insanity to be talking about it at all? What I think is insanity is that despite Lemon's factually correct assertion, Trump has gutted the funding to go after these groups. Trump isn't sending troops to fight Islamic Terrorism in Afghanistan, or go after these groups but he's sending 15,000 of them to the border because folks are legally seeking asylum.

Lemon wasn't saying all white people are terrorists. He wasn't saying that the right-wing white terrorists are terrorists because of their race. There was nothing offensive about it at all.

The only problem is a lot of right wingers can't wait to get a chance to play the victim card, so they jumped the gun and tried to play the victim card here.

we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them."

So should we demonize them or not?

Except he wasn't demonizing them. He wasn't saying all white men are right-wing terrorists. He wasn't saying they were terrorists because they were right-wing men. He was saying that trying to demonize other groups like Muslims or the caravan is ridiculous. That was the whole point. He showed how Trump and the right-wing are trying to create fear about "others".

He is clearly an enemy of the people for reporting those accurate statistics.

THAT BEING SAID we shouldn’t fixate on muslim terrorists for that matter on the basis of this rationale

The way you are talking about human life is problematic, homie.

You went from liberal insanity hearing white men are the main perpetrators of domestic terrorism to it's no big deal terrorists kill 200 people a year in the span of 5 thread posts.

This is the way you talk in black on black violence threads and there are a lot more victims

I dont walk around worrying about domestic terrorism

    Thats the point
