Has anybody ever used this site to book boarding for your dog? I been calling around trying to find a place to board my dog for 5 days starting Thanksgiving and have not been successful at finding any openings. I found this while searching for options and I'm wondering if any of you guys have ever used the service and whether I should try my luck.
know 2 friends that are boarders for this app. pretty much anyone can sign up (although not sure what credentials are necessary) and they set their own prices. you hope they have reviews and/or testimonials that are true and you meet them up/drop them off at the persons place. just wondering what kinda dog do you have?
Mix border collie with some lab. He resembles a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever although I doubt that's what he actually is.
I used Rover, which I believe is similar. Hit and miss- depends on who you get. Obviously check the reviews of each and hopefully there are pictures of their house/yard and list any other dogs they might have. I found a lot of sitters on Rover were unable to take my pets as they either had other dogs they were sitting or were unavailable (or hated how my dogs looked? haha). I got kind of sketched out by the last sitter I used on there, so we are using a boarding place this time around.
