Imagine a lineup of Sheed, Hill, Tmac, VC and Iverson during their prime. I take this over any team now.
But HoF? Althought it pains me to say so, yes to Iverson and maybe VC but no to the others.

Vince Carter: No, but his slam dunk contest performance was probably one of the most memorable moments in NBA history.

    Hill: No

    Rasheed Wallace: No

    Tracy Mcgrady: No

    Allen Iverson: 1st ballot HOF

It isn't the NBA HOF, it's the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. No distinction to professional/international/college.

    Football is the Pro-Football HOF.

Baseball is the National HOF, but requires 10 year major league career, and only concerns it self with MLB stats.

Hill didn't get past the 1st round until he joined the Suns a few years ago. He's just more likable as a person than T-Mac.

If Chris Mullins can get in, Mcgrady sure as hell should.

Right, this is a very important distinction. It's a general "basketball" hall of fame, it's not particular to just NBA ball. So NBA players who play internationally and especially in the Olympics seem to get the honor more often than not.

Which is actually something that favors Carter's inclusion, since he was an Olympic athlete as well.

In fact, here's probably the most memorable dunk in the Olympics ever:

probably not. AI was really good but he didn't really accomplish anything in his medium length career.
the most likely candidate is vince carter.

Ralph Sampson got in off basically a great college career and 3 great NBA seasons. Grant Hill was the difference in Duke going from next years champs to back to back title winners. He also led them to the national finals when he was basically a one man show. He had some dominant years with the Pistons, and he has been solid as a glue guy the last few years of his career. I think he gets in.

Even though we know JVG loves T-Mac do you agree with him when he said he (Tracy Mcgrady) deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame do we agree with him or no?

LOL @ posters saying Vince Carter doesn't belong in the HOF. He is surely getting in. Best dunker of all-time and was indeed an amazing player. He belongs in the HOF same for AI.. T-Mac IMO should get in but I don't know if he will, he was a special talent.

Vince Carter -- Yes. People forgot how exciting Vince was in his Toronto days. Also he is a career 20 PPG scorer and has 10 seasons averaging 20+ points. That is the type of consistency and longevity that gets one into the Hall.

Grant Hill -- No. Hill had 6 great years at the beginning of his career then sadly after all the injuries he became a role player. 6 years do not define a career.

Tracy McGrady -- Borderline Yes. Tracy's prime is not very long but he was crazy good. However, longevity should be taken into considerations here and I can see why you may leave him out.

Rasheed Wallace -- No. He was a very good big man who happened to be on a great Portland team in the 90's. He never averaged 20 ppg or 10 rpg in any season.

Allen Iverson -- Yes. No brainer. Despite of what you think of AI, he is one of the most unique players this league has ever seen and is truly a legend in this sport.

Disagree. If Mitch Richmond and Tim Hardaway didn't make it in, why does McGrady deserve it? Will McGrady even get his jersey retired?

Reggie Miller is. Why wouldn't Iverson be?
