yup. there is 0 reason to hate cp3. he brought houston as close as ever since to the ship days to a title. and he out of all the guys that have continuously said no to houston, he said yes

you don't appreciate something til its gone. yeah i cant wait til cf's is whining about the brick sessions and how harden has to deal with the lack of spacing once again

    Yes sir

If this doesn't work out, Harden can't have any more excuses. He just can't get it done and we have to accept. We have done enough blaming and finger pointing at two other HOFers who joined here with Harden's approval

    This is incorrect.

We secured the 1 seed, lost because of CP3's hamstring and THEN CP3 signed the albatross contract. He didn't trick us or bamboozle us or hoodwink us or whatever, for the money.

At the time of the signing, you'd be hard-pressed to find a dissenter against CP3 getting his money. After all, we had just made it to within a game of the NBA Finals. No one in their right mind would let CP3 walk.

His body simply betrayed him. It's not like once he secured the bag, CP3 purposefully declined and then copped an attitude about it.

wb is the easy scapegoat now though just based on his glaring weaknesses alone. so harden will still get his pass. it won't be long til cf's reverts back to why he was hated so much in the first place and wanting for a better fit next to harden yet again

we were in a bad situation cap wise even if he took less than the max i believe. you cant get mad at cp3 for taking what was offered to him. this was after a 65 win season. cp3 made us into conteders, its just too bad we got him at this age.

Listen, the way players are demanding trades so often it's not a huge surprise to see teams making trades for players who they think will give them a shot to win titles. If a player wants to sign a contract with a team they will decide to do so if they are happy with the current or new team .

Let's face it, current CP3 was not going to help us win the West let alone a championship. Maybe the Rockets and Daryl Morey get a bad rep for often trading players.. but these players who are being traded are under a contract. They'll still get paid regardless of where they're playing right ?

Seriously? Durant took a paycut to join a 73 win team. Lebron, Wade, Bosh all took paycuts, Davis to LA well he waived his trade kicker, you know why? Because they wanted to ****ing win.

Things develop way too quickly now for something like this to have any detrimental effect going forward. The league is getting smarter and Morey isn't much of an outlier anymore, all GM's treat players like assets, and players treat teams like assets, love it or hate it. Look at the Celtics, they did Isiah Thomas dirty 2 years ago to get Kyrie, and then Kyrie ended up hating it there - yet they were able to pivot to Kemba pretty easily.

Do you really think that CP3 had no idea that this was a possibility? All of you are unbelievable.

None of those situations are the same thing. Even if he had taken a paycut it wouldnt have changed our situation for last season at all. Lebron has never taken a pay cut again after that. Its not the norm at all, nor should it be, guys should want to get paid and want to win, dont kid yourself man. And just to let you know Cp did us a favor by opting into his Clippers deal so we could sign PJ and Luc also came with him as well. Dont ever tell me Cp doesent care about winning, he does.

How is it when the Rockets make a trade OUR own fans question the team? But when we don’t make a trade we question the team. I’ll never understand “clutch” fans. Players are traded daily. Don’t believe the reports that CP3 didn’t ask for a trade. You bet he asked for a trade.

Lebron took one to go to LA. He gave up more money and the fifth year. CP3 bailed on NO, LA, and supposedly complained about HOU. He won't be missed, hell at the very least we got out of his ridiculous contract.

If he was ok in being traded (which is what i think all things considered) nope, otherwise shrug, it's something it always happened and will always happen. Players are always going to get traded if the right situation happens, the Celtics traded Paul Pierce against his will after he got drafted and played there for like 10 or more years and nobody gave a **** about that aside for a couple of days.

Lol, oh yea cause it was so hard for him to leave a little bit of money off the table to leave CLEVELAND FOR FREAKING LA(which he will make with endorsements for sure) yea how noble of him haha. Ohhhh that NO that had no other talent surrounding Paul, or the Clippers team that had Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordon as your best players.....nah, he left those teams once he did all he could. And as far as anyone knows he never asked for a trade from Houston. Cmon bro...stop all this.

I'm grateful for CP3's tenure here. I really hope when he plays in Toyota center again, the crowd does a standing ovation.

Dude was the second biggest reason for that amazing 2017-2018 run. Probably the 3rd or 4th best Rocket season in franchise history. He had some defining Rocket history defining moments. His shimmy on Curry in game 5 was probably the most hyped I have ever been as a Rocket fan.
