Does the Media have Licence or Even an Obligation to Question an Elderly Leader's Mental Capacity

My post was almost entirely about John McCain. What bullshit (and under 3 sentences).

 

Don't you think that the vast majority of the people in this country would see the title of this thread and assume it was about President Trump?

It's ridiculous to draw some "children of privilege" equivalency between the two men. Especially in the context that's been made here.

If McCain abused the privilege of his name he did so in order to fight for his country. Trump did it to get laid and make money and to actively avoid fighting for his country.

 

When they are truly senile as McCain seems to be, yes, please call them out. News flash, McCain has been heading in the wrong direction for some time.

I definitely think Trump's mental health is a problem...but I don't think he is senile. He's just nuts.

 

The man was tortured by the Viet Cong for 5 years because he didn't fall back on his military privilege to be let go before other POWs.

There are more Trump driven scandals outside of the "Russian nonsense" that would deep six a presidency...nepotism, emoluments, non-stop leaks, Steve Bannon, his fawning support among white supremacists, etc..

John McCain can manually take off and land aircraft. I can at least point to a specific discernible skill that McCain has acquired in his lifetime. I can't say the same for Donald Trump. The man has no discernible skill sets.

Can you blame him... personally, trump has been offensively disrespectful to McCain (re: being a POW, re: his mental capacity). And politically, McCain has been offended by trump's positions.

How horrible of a person do you have to be when two highly respected and loved Republican figures find you so offensive that they don't want you (the potus) to attend their funeral?
