I was just reading about rumors on espn and they say that there are two teams Mobley might play for next season, the Rockets or the Blazers. Does anyone know if Mobley wants to play for the Blazers? I thought it would be the Rockets or the Raptors for Mobley. I know he likes Pippen but does he want to go to the Blazers because Pip is there? Has anyone heard of this? And I can´t see where Mobley would fit in with the Blazers. They have Smith and Wells at SG. I hope Mobley stays with the Rockets. ------------------
I saw that and thought it was strange too. It is actually impossible because all Portland has is their 2.5 M exception, and we can obviously match that. Someone for ESPN needs to do their homework. ------------------
I guess the Blazers might like to have Mobley as a PG because at 6'4 he's got good size there and that helps them match up with the big guards in the Lakers squad... of course they can't sign him, but maybe they figure they could convince us to do a sign and trade... how that'd work I don't know, but it'd mean we'd have Bonzi Wells in a rockets uniform plus whatever else.... ------------------
