Just curious as to people's thoughts over whether we have problems Vs East Conference teams.
Our record as of today is 42-19.
But of our 19 losses 10 are against teams in the East (including sweeps by Miami, Atlanta and Indiana which all on paper I would think we were favorites).
Looking at our game totals East Vs West:
West: 34 games for 9 losses
East: 27 games for 10 losses
That's over 10% more losses against East teams than West.
Considering East is the weaker conference, is our team built more for West conf teams? Fast paced Vs slower bigger teams of the East.
Or is it simply we were unprepared, travel or bad luck?

Yes we do. We arent built for the tough physical teams out east. We are built to outscore these guard heavy teams out west

I noticed that too. We've been a very good team against the East for a very long time. It's strange that this has changed, wonder what the reason could be.

I remember the times we used to have about 20-25+ wins vs the East out of 30 games. Need to get back tp whooping East ass

Indiana killed us on the boards the other night. That's an obvious problem we have and one I can't see being fixed without a change.

It seems like this team take those Eastern squads lightly. They get off to solid leads and lose focus.

well I guess if you count loosing to Toronto, Celtics twice, Atlanta twice, Heat twice and cleveland in the east this year a problem

We beat the Celtics at TC this year. Though, we probably shouldn't have. Horford blew a layup at the end that would have won the game for Boston.

we still have a good winning record against the East, doesn't really matter anyway

we don't face them in the Playoffs....unless we get to the Finals

When we play Eastern teams . .. . .The Refs seem a bit different and the Rockets are not as aggressive.
