Does anyone know why Capela and Harden where not on the bench

Both Harden/Pela saw the game at Zdogs house.
He has a massive 32” tv with comfy bean-bag chairs!!!

Why should anyone even care? Guys ruled out due to injury weren’t on the bench. Perhaps to receive extra treatment? Whatever reason it is, I really dgaf.

 

People read way too much into things.

It's almost as if they aren't aware players on occasion are not required to travel with the team on away trips when they're not playing. Shocking.

 

Dang people don't get so bent out of shape because people wondered where James and Clint were. We saw Westbrook, and just wondered. We didn't know they didn't fly out, if that was the case. It's not like it was a meaningless game after all. This was the 2nd best team in the West

 

My guess is that Harden and Capela, since they are nursing injuries, felt that it was better to get treatment on them in the locker room where they could relax and not have to sit on a cramped bench all game.

Westbrook wasn’t nursing an injury, just resting, so sitting on a bench supporting his teammates was the best way to go.

Honestly don’t mind if guys nursing injuries don’t sit on the bench. Wasn’t like Gordon was sitting on the bench every game when he was out. Rather them get healthy however they feel they need to...that’s more important.

 

Some posters take every opportunity out there to further a narrative they believe in.

Weirdly the most popular cite wide narrative push by some of these posters is taking a negative slant on all things Harden.

 

Harden and Capela were getting injury treatment in the back. (Whereas Russ was just a *rest game* and thus he was on the bench)
