I hear where you are going but the team really doesn’t need to get into a war with the media. It’s a war you can’t win. They can dig their heels in deeper and spew even more negativity. It’s a frustrating, no win situation.

See the POTUS for a perfect example of fighting the media.

Not the media, just ESPN and specifically their opinion based entertainers. They have their studios outside Staples Center for godsakes. That alone leads to several different types of biases that they don't even try or pretend to hide.

Oh Hell. The ref was looking right at him!

I’m another guy wondering why MDA was going ballistic. No wonder! The game will be on LP. I may look at it later, if I can handle the high blood pressure. The ****ing ref was looking right at Doc. No way did he miss that timeout. Incredible. That ref stole the game from us. Stole the ****ing game.

Yeah it’s so disgusting anymore I hate when games are on their channel they are so biased it’s laughable, has it even been mentioned the Doc literally did the exact opposite of what he pulled last game nahhh of course not

I wonder what refs think at that point, waiting for a player to do it? They like to be in control and just let everything go? Imagine Doc if Lou had missed hahaha

I'm confused. So Doc Rivers had no remaining timeouts and got away with calling a timeout? Well as a Rocket fan you know this comes with the territory...

    I think we are overreacting.

I am hearing that it was a conditional time out.

Doc told the ref to wait to see if Lou's shot goes in or not before actually blowing the whistle.

The differences between the NBA and WWE get smaller every year. Just horrific officiating, against both teams.

Sounds like a big misunderstanding then. Someone should let Mike D know.

Imagine if Lou had missed that shot, Rockets get a rebound...

What happens? Doc is on the court. They can't just let play keep going.

I bet the refs stop the game and award the timeout. It was like a free possession for the Clippers.

That and the 4 fouls in 60 seconds to put them in the bonus...just ridiculous.

To top it all off I had to hear Doris Burke, who I generally like, whine like a stuck pig about Harden "hooking" the arm of Kawhi and watch it on the most ridiculous camera angle ever so I can't see anything going on.

    Terrible game.

After the situation in the last game where he whined about being told he had a time out that he took but didn’t actually have, its crickets out of Doc the whiny pig and silence on the NBA’s part as well... not surprised of course! Shouldn’t have come down this this, but you can’t explain this one away very easily.

Hard to believe? No.. that officiating crew was horrible. To many no calls for LAC & extreme touch fouls for Houston all game long.
If They call it both ways no way we lose that game.

That was my thought - that they were going for an NBA 2K video game kind of vibe, but it didn't work.
