I always take some cajun peanuts to the stros and rockets game. I can't eat the crap they sell; something about the food taste off and expensive.:p

How do you sneak it in and have you been caught?

Stuff them in a condom and swallow it.

I read that Minute Maid is the only ballpark that doesn't allow outside food and drink. Can anyone confirm?

Step one: Buy bottle of rum
Step two: Buy cheap bottle of water
Step three: Drink or pour out water
Step four: Pour rum into empty water bottle
Step five: Walk past security with no need to hide and no questions asked
Step six: Buy giant Coke/Coke Zero for $4
Step seven: Drink some of the coke
Step eight: Add rum as space becomes available
Step nine: Get a ride/walk to home/hotel because your ass will be drunk by the end of the game.

I skip steps two-four and just sneak the flask in my cargo shorts.

We don't sneak snacks into movies typically, but we will sneak in cokes.

Only MLB park that completely forbids it. Every other park lets you bring some food/drink into the park. Turner Field even lets you bring in a soft-sided cooler, but your drinks have to be in plastic containers.

My flask isn't enough for the whole game. I take a liter of rum.

Edit: Out of curiosity, does your flask not set the metal detector off?

Well, I just buy the bottles they sell behind the counter at the liquor store and just sneak that in. But MMP doesn't have metal detectors so I could get away with that.

I've also been known to sneak a sixer of cans in my cargo shorts. Three on each side.

    100% true. Thanks Aramark!

When I was a kid, we used to go to Antone's on South Main, pickup red wraps, chips and sodas, bring them into the Dome, and eat while watching batting practice.

I always sneak in food, and often times booze, whenever I go to a pro sports event in Houston.

Christ man how big are these shorts? We've taken in some rum on occassion to games, just the stuff they sell behind the counter. Usually will take peanuts with me too.

Now that I'm thinking about it, MLB in general has more relaxed security. NFL on the other hand...

After 9-11, I know the Hawks started wanding people, but I don't recall if they did last time I went.

AT&T Park allows outside food, so you have people bring all sorts of stuff in for Giants games. Like bags of McDonald's, sandwiches from Safeway, sushi from Trader Joes, etc.

Back when I lived in Austin, we'd crotch a flask of Crown for UT football games.

Usually it's not the concessionaire's decision, but rather the team's decision.
