Just trying to gauge public opinion of the Rockets aesthetic. I know some people are tired of this subject but it's been 10+ years now with this logo. I'm always trying to get more visibility on it since I'm passionate about us getting a rebrand.
I would be happy if they would simply make the ketchup and mustard alternates the primary road jersey and create a white version for home games.
I like the "R" logo but I REALLY dislike the "Rockets" font on the jersey. It looks like asian styled brushstroke. It really doesn't go well with a rockets/space theme. Something slicker would be nice or even just going back to the championship brand would be nice.
Some updated version of the championship years logo and uniforms please. Similar to what Detroit did.
I feel you but this would just cause more clashing of different styles as the 'R' logo would not fit at all with any other typeface for 'Rockets' since the 'R' in 'Rockets' is the same as the 'R' logo.
Would love some sort of updated version of our championship jerseys. Maybe update the logo slightly, the jerseys however are practically perfect: they are simple, elegant and timeless. edit: someone should just make a petition. edit 2: I remember Morey saying he didn't give a damn about the jerseys and let marketing/anyone else handle this.
I do like the "R" and the colors. The one thing I absolutely hate is the cut and design of our jersey's. I think that's what really needs to change.
Well the thing is that, the "R" logo doesn't look like the R on the "Rockets" font. I remember the someone with the Rockets marketing team talking about how they wanted to create a simple symbol that represents the city and team like the Yankees "NY" logo on their caps. I kind of like that idea, but I'd be open to a totally different design as well.
I'd like to know where/how I can fool around with a template and make legit uniforms and a logo like I have seen some people be able to do. If anyone has helpful information, that'd be cool of you to dish my way.
Possibly a website where you can purchase custom jerseys that you create. Just play with their tool and don't actually purchase it of course.
I think the "R" logo looks good. I want new uniforms. I don't like the font on the front of the jerseys. I don't like the full logo with the words "Houston Rockets" written on each side of the "R" logo.
I do like the R logo, but I miss yellow being one of our primary team colors, along side red. If we could keep the R logo, but update our colors to red, white and yellow, and then also change the uniforms, I would really like that. Ketchup and mustard for ever.
The love for yellow is overblown. It was never more than an accent color. Sticky this thread then tweet the link to everyone in the organization when an overwhelming number of the results point to how much we hate what we have now. It's only a matter of time.
The logo just needs to be tweaked a little bit, but the uniform and font has got to go. It's horrible.
