Yep, and most recently Suns at home, and Raptors away. If they just had won one of those games, we wouldn't have worry right now

Division title won't even mean shiet if we cannot go to the Finals or WC finals (minimum requirement)

Can't just someone make the West easier. I mean Memphis is in the Middle of East and West and could easily go to the East.

I wouldn't mind Portland either. It'll hurt without D-Mo since they have a big frontcourt rotation and foul trouble will be a concern. But other than the Mavs, they're the team I'd most like to face in Round 1. I want no part of the Spurs, the Clippers are a tough matchup especially without D-Mo, and it's doubtful we wind up playing the Grizzlies.

People need to chill with the 6th seed talk though. A loss Friday doesn't mean we fall that low by the end of the season. We'd probably have to drop one or more of our final 3 games for that to happen.

its looking like the spurs and clippers will win out and claim the 2nd and 3rd seeds.

the race for HCA against the blazers between us and the grizzlies will likely come down to IF we can beat the pelicans and IF the warriors rest some guys against the grizz.

6th seed is very likely. and another first round loss, this time against the clippers/spurs.

But the Grizzlies also have to play at Utah tomorrow night and at the Clippers on a B2B on Saturday. If the Rockets win their final 3 games(NOP, @CHA, UTA), they'll be no worse than the 5th seed barring one very unlikely scenario. And that is Memphis wins all their remaining games(including at Utah and Golden State), but loses at the Clippers.

It may look that way but I believe the Rockets will pull off the game tomorrow. Spurs have been on a good winning streak and has not jumped up many spots. Rockets can still take the 2nd seed. It all comes down to tomorrow. Go Rockets!!

If Memphis and Houston both go 3-1, and the Spurs and Clippers go 3-0 to finish out, it will be a 4-way tie at 56-26 and end up ...

    2. Clippers -- wins tiebreaker over Grizzlies (conference record)
    3. Grizzlies -- wins tiebreaker over Spurs (conference record) and Rockets (division record)
    5. Spurs -- wins tiebreaker over Rockets (division record
    6. Rockets

That's extremely unlikely though. I think the Grizzlies will lose at Golden State. Even Utah won't be an easy game.

If Golden State cares in a meaningless game for them, then yes, it'll be tough for Memphis to win there.

I don't think it's entirely meaningless. Winning their last 4 games(all at home) would potentially clinch the MVP for Curry since it'll give the Warriors a 67-15 record which is one of the best in NBA history not to mention a 39-2 home record which is 2nd only to the 1986 Celtics.

We'll get a sense of how serious the Warriors are about these games starting tonight when Portland visits.

Warriors are probably gonna make a statement tonight at home after dropping 2 straight.

Not that the Warriors are probably even aware of this(or care), but another reason they better win tonight is that a loss would give them a 3-game losing streak. Even the Rockets haven't had one of those all season long.

Can't happen. Division winner is first tiebreak, so Grizzlies would be 2 seed.

Whoa. Curry and Green and I have ESPN. Weird. Ok, I guess they do care. Sucks to be you tonight, Portland.

The rockets should get 2nd or 5th seed, it would be a big failure if they go down to 6th seed. If we have 5th seed, then have a HCA for Blazers if we have a better record, that is not bad at all.
