On a personal level it just makes me think about how oblivious you are as kids. I was about 10 when The Last Crusade came out. I of course watched it many times over the next 3-5 years, and remember thinking that indeed Connery's character was a real old fart. I guess part of it was that indeed Ford looked younger than he was - he was 47 already then.

But 10 year old me wouldn't have been fazed if Connery passed away around then just of "old age", lol. so dumb.

Stealing a line from Cheri Oteri’s Barbara Walters reprisal on New Year’s (“This is 2020”), “Watch Harrison Ford put together puzzles with Betty White, Christopher Plummer, and Sean Connery himself....”

Crystal Skull would have been so much better if they had gone with the original script, but we got the junk that landed in theaters. I don't necessarily mind a new Indy film, just not one with Harrison Ford as the leading role. Maybe a young Indy movie or something. But then again, if it's not Harrison Ford, it's not really Indy. This isn't Jack Ryan here.

will shia lebeef be in this one too? it was obvious from the last one that they were trying to do a "pass the torch" thing with him and harrison ford.

Shia Laboofy didn't exactly get the Indy world turgid or moist. His star dimmed considerably since that film. Pass him the torch, and he'll light a crack pipe with it.

The last Indiana Jones film was weak.

It feels like they squeezed the juice out of this, that said, treasure hunting movies will likely always have an opportunity if they can make us think a little along the way.

Tom Hardy or Chris Pratt would make a good Indiana Jones

I think he was just horrendously miscast. He's been pretty good in more artsy indie films and is a pretty skilled writer/director. He never should have been cast as the next action star.

Tom Hardy, Chris Pratt, maybe JGL or Jake Gyllenhaal would have been much better. Although personally the Indy triology has been over since the 80s

The best Indiana Jones would be George Clooney if you want to go older. If you want to go younger then Emma Stone or Millie Brown.... Lorde could actually do it well.

All the young male actors are p*****s and have been neutered by society.

Shia had an incredible year in film this past year. I would be fully on board for him to take over, dude is a great actor, just a little messed up in the head
