It's the story of a young Trans lion trying to find himself in a male dominated world.

    It’s not a live action.

Per Disney, it’s a “photorealistic computer animated” remake.

Didn't like watching it on lazy teacher day in high school analytical geometry, won't watch this either but a 25 year revenue stream is nothing to laugh at. These mofos have Star Wars - which I'm old enough to have thought would never go past the trilogy - and just bought the Fox film studio too. This thing has so much intrinsic global appeal, I think $2.5 - 3 billion is the global gross record right now, this could be insane.

Even if you call it live action it's not totally wrong and should be good to use.

With the billions Disney have been throwing about. Would have thought they'd get the rights to Kimba the White Lion by now and do what was originally planned.

Rare time I will go against the rotten tomatoes score. I think this was good. The best "live action" remake Disney has done other than Beauty and the beast. I give it a solid 7/10.

If you enjoyed the original (and everyone did), you will enjoy this. John Oliver, Billy Eichner, and Seth Rogan were all fantastic, definitely my favorite voice work.

It was pretty much the exact same movie except with real lions.

I think this is the future of movies. Pretty soon they aren't going to need real actors. Those lions look amazing. The issue is real lions don't really talk like humans.
