This guy is quite possibly one of the biggest losers and empty stat dudes in NBA history. There is a reason he has never translated to anything other than when Billups was with him. The day he makes it to the HOF is the day it'll become a joke.

The rockets dodged a bullet with the mural over this mentally weak p***y that one year, all PJ had to do was toy with his feeble mind just a bit to get him to come back. You want a losing mentality and team? Go after this guy.

No! Plain and simple, I agree that we need to make big moves. But not all big moves are good moves.

I can see where what you're saying makes sense. I did say, "I'd ask Melo two questions before making the move though. Can you play in the P'n'R over and over without the ball in your hands? And can you be part of the seven second offense? Because both will happen regardless of how your feelings about it. So 2 1/2 seasons of basketball without being the man."

I said that because I had the same concern. I didn't even think about why the Knicks would pull the trigger on that. Maybe to get their team back under control? If I'm New York, I'm building about Porzingis. And there's no way Melo is taking a back seat to him. He hasn't been in the league long enough. So, they might do it as an addition by subtraction case. Plus, Brewer comes off the books next year while Anthony's contract goes up a lot compared to Anderson's contract, making it a better trade asset.

Again, I'd rather stick with what we have. Melo is too big a risk to me. Plus our team seems happy. Why **** with it?

he ASKED him if he wanted to stay with the Knicks?
Carmelo should be the one asking if they still want him. Ofc Melo and his wife will want to stay in NY.
Knicks should just bench him until he decides to waive his NTC.

If the Clippers can swing a trade for Melo while his value is at an all-time low and while he's forcing a trade to them and them only, the Clippers could challenge GS.

    Rivers/Crawford + picks for Melo

    Paul
    Redick
    Melo
    Griffin
    Jordan

Wow, no weaknesses in that starting 5.

Melo is fat, selfish, and slow. There....I found 3 weaknesses.

LMAO...Carmelo ain't leaving on his own from there.
If I were a Knicks fan I would go to the games to boo him and call for him to be benched until he changes his mind.

It's so funny that Melo gave a spiel about wanting to win and then is refusing to leave NY when they don't want him there AND they are losing lol.

You are assuming he would play in the system he has already said publicly he hates. He is obviously a better player than Anderson but a much worse fit. Fit is a bit more important here.

Well it is the BASKETBALL HOF and not NBA HOF. He has a college championship and 3 gold medals. That should be more than enough to get him in not counting NBA accomplishments.

The Knicks should just make the bold move like Detroit did to JSmoove. Waive the guy. They are not making the playoffs this year. Might as well dump the guy, tank a little bit, and move on with Porzi as their franchise player.

Is there such a thing called No Waive Clause?
