Kobe sounded a bit scared in his voice. To me anyway.

Nah, Kobe has consistently said that he truly believes that one-on-one is the core of his game and that no one can beat him so I believe that he doesn't really worry about that kind of stuff. But I can guarantee that Kobe is going to do some borderline illegal stuff just to get the win, if Irving manages to keep things close.

That said, Irving is such a stud. We need dudes like that, willing to challenge the old guard but in a respectful way. And it's for a good cause so ups to both of them, serious.

This would be unbelievable. Truly enjoy Kyrie and his game...feel he can be a top pg in the league in a few years BUT i would still give Kobe the upper hand obviously. Kyrie has a "punchers" chance though

    I like Kyrie.
Dude is MAD confident but respectful.
Kobe comes off a bit too cocky, but after a career like his he earned that right.

Kobe would just post him up in my opinion.

But if Kyrie plays to his strengths when he is on offense, it could be close

Kyrie could definitely win. On offense, he's crazy quick and has sick handles, not to mention he's one of the best shooting guards in the game right now, a much better shooter than Kobe.

Kobe will post up, but I think Kyrie can do decently on defense despite his size disadvantage.

Will it be make it, take it?

I think depending on that, the game could go either way.

irving should have stipulated it would be 1 on 1, fullcourt........his young legs would be an advantage over rapist...

as it stands, his best strategy is to just foul the **** out of koby now and get him irritated
