I know a lot of posters here dog him out because he isn't the same player as a season or three ago, but he seems like a good fit in the Rockets' system.

Whether or not we'd pay him his asking price in the summer? The Shadow Knows.

Probably academic, all this, but I'd rather we get Ibaka and what's left of his defense than Vucevic a.k.a. 7-Up ("never had it, never will").

Everyone available for the Magic! One of the teams @Codman mentioned was going to implode.

Give them a 1st round pick, Harrell, Zhou Qi, and throw in Brewer and McDaniels for the salary match.

    Rockets can reach Ibaka's 12.5M salary with KJ+Brewer+Ennis. :D

This is so stupid. Why trade for him and then later trade him? The Magic are stupid.

The Rockets need to get involved...... Dekker and a #1 may be enough. Ibaka could even play some 5.

I'd do what it takes to get him. He can be the 3rd best player on a championship team.

Fill the 2nd best player in the off season and we're good

If the Rockets trade for Ibaka, are we ok with giving him a max contract? You have to be willing to do that because that is likely his market.

Why Harrel? And don't think the Magic would want Brewer. I do not think they want bad players. I would send Capela, and a First round draft pick. Involve another team to work a 3 team deal to make the deal happen, and send Corey Brewer.

I honestly don't think he would get a max contract on the open market after the season. He has slowed down this season, and hasn't been as good a defender. Also, it is widely believed that Ibaka is substantially older than his stated age.

To me, you trade for him and see how he fits the Rockets team.... he can play 4 and 5 in the Rockets system in certain match ups. Theoretically he would allow the Rockets to move Anderson to the bench more often, or run a line up of Beverly, Harden, Ariza, Anderson and Ibaka; where every single player on the floor can pass and hit 3's.

Not watched many Orlando games this year but he has to be better than Brewer.
