Everyone can lament all they want. All I know is that Cleveland has to be shi**ing themselves for passing on Deshaun not once, but twice. Basically giving up his rights to instead take Deshone Kizer in the 3rd. Those guys passed on Wentz and Watson in back to back drafts. How crappy is that for a franchise that is constantly in search of a new QB.
Dude is leading the league in TD's right now despite already having his bye week, and not starting the first game.
It's an incredibly rare situation where even the most over the top sounding optimists were actually selling the kid short. He still makes rookie mistakes but dear lord he's come a long way in a short time.
after the sherman int, the legit one not the one where watson was forced to throw due to ineptitude by old men in windbreakers, the camera panned to sherman talking to the legion: He said something like... 'I was supposed to go that way, but I decided to sit on it.' They baited him Watson. but then watson comes back and shreds the legion . 400 yards 4tds, 2ints
It's a cool stat, Watson is a BALLER, he's turning NFL games in to college football games (and I mean that as a compliment), but throwing TD's in Manning's rookie era compared to throwing them now is night and day.
I said this guy ceiling comparisons is Warren Moon when the Texans picked Watsons...got a long way to go but so far so good
Still can't believe we have this caliber qb on the Texans. Would have loved to see Prime Dre play with him.
I feel sorry for Dre, wasted his whole career basically playing with has beens and scurbs. Imagine if the Savior Watson was with him, we would have started a dynasty
When he finally got an elite qb (Luck) he was washed up. The way Watson extends plays it would have been a beautiful thing him throwing to Dre.
