Per Schefter, some people are wondering about this hit & any role it caused in the injury. Doctors & trainers who reviewed the tape said that's a trigger for an ACL injury. Texans still think he tore the ACL in practice but do have questions about that play & any damaged it caused. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...atson-initially-injured-knee-seattle-seahawks Jeff Darlington: He'll have surgery next week; will be at the game today. Savage said O'Brien has done an excellent job keeping this locker room intact by communicating with them. CBS: Surgery next week Tuesday or Wednesday in Florida by Dr. James Andrews
He was gimpy after the play so it could be the source of the initial damage and then he finished it off in practice.
Yeah when I saw that hit during the game I was like oh no cause he grabbed the knee but he finished the game. I am pretty certain it was damaged or weakened on that play
Jay Glazer: The injury they think occured against Seahawks. Simple thing during practice, didn't think much of it. Obviously goes down with the ACL injury. Tom Savage starts for them but there has been some chatter inside that locker room, inside the building whether they'd take a look at Kaepernick because he fits what Bill O'Brien was doing with the offense.
Like when Watson walked past them??? Hey, do you smell what I smell? I think Watson's knee just farted, phew. Probably a partially torn ACL fart. Hey, Dr. Lowe! We've got ACL stank over here!
Right now the NFL is having an image crisis, and a health crisis with a ton of the faces of the game being lost for he season. Perhaps one thing to consider to curb injuries would be to make it so that if you contributed significantly to an opponent getting hurt, then you sit out as many games as they are sidelined for. Kinda like paternity leave in Iceland.
Might as well switch to flag football in that case. If you're going to start kicking people out for completely legitimate plays, defenders are just not going to tackle anyone. Should the Texans practice field be removed for as long as Watson is out?

He is ranked 2nd in the league in rating while in the pocket.. beef up Oline and he won't have to be as mobile. granted we still want him to be, just saying he was really good when he wasn't running around as well.
Which is the most amazing thing really. He was beating people more with his arm than with his feet, which is something he was incapable of doing at the NFL level just 3 months ago. It's also why I'm not so worried about his injury, he's not a running QB despite being very good at it.
Fake surgery because he's not injured Tomorrow is 11/8. Tom Brady has a gematria of 118. Watson is the next Brady, but the powers that be can't let him be overshadowed yet.
So the Texans draft will look like this: OL CB S OL CB S I better not see that roid ripper in a Texans uní next season my goodness.
