link Denver Looking At Hinrich And Cassell? Jun 27, 2008 4:36 PM EST Free agent point guard Sam Cassell has expressed interest in playing for the Nuggets, and the team could make a play for Chicago's Kirk Hinrich, according to report in The Rocky Mountain News. Cassell wants to play one more season in the league and is likely considering the Nuggets because of his relationship with George Karl. Having drafted Derrick Rose, the Bulls will be looking to clear out some space in their backcourt. Hinrich is expectedly by many to be traded by Chicago before the start of the 2008-09 season. We need to get Hinrich!!
Probably not much for Hinrich. If Sam I Am doesn't want to come back to the Rockets, there is no use going after him.
what if we brought back cassell and horry? how awesome would that be if we won another chip with them?
better than having luther head and chuck hayes getting dorsey and having a healthy yao leaves big shot open in those situations that we have had problems with..making clutch shots cassell work work very well in rick adelman's offense he can still shoot, don't be fooled by what he did in boston. our offensive is way more point guard friendly than that. look at rafer's numbers. and we all know rafer can't shoot. also it gives us a solid backup to rafer, who ironically was sam's backup with the bucks aaron brooks gets some mentoring horry comes back and breaks the curse
