apparently he's a great int'l scout, especially getting guys from Africa.....

Maybe he values Lull highly, could be good for us. Or maybe Lior.

Well hopefully we will see a resolution to the Carmelo situation soon.

I do not envy Ujiri. He's in a tough position. But he'll get some GM experience.

With or without melo denver can't beat L.A or even the Thunders so a smart GM would try to rebuild for the future.

i wonder if he has the balls to trade chauncey as well...that's what he really needs to do to flip that franchise around. Unfortuntely i can't see anyone wanting Billups right now...the good teams all pretty much are set at point and the younger teams probably won't want him.

that being said....his best bet is to get Melo to consider other teams and get veteran talent for him, semi-star types that can keep them competitive while chauncey is still around to give the fans hope and then rebuild completely after that.

I wonder if he'd consider the mavs...marion+haywood for Melo? good for both teams. nuggets start:

    Billups
    JR
    Marion
    Nene
    Haywood

Haha! Maybe it will benefit the Rockets. Pretty sure I'm on the side wanting to acquire Melo now.

Does nothing for Denvers future. Plus Haywood's contract is ridiculous.

You are right. I would add the Rockets to the list of teams that Denver cannot beat with or without Melo.

With a healthy Yao, Martin and Scola I would put the Rockets as among the elite in the WC.
