    Statement from Hawks:
"We are aware of an incident involving Dennis Schröder earlier this morning. We are still gathering information as it pertains to the situation, and out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time.”

Maybe the last time anyone mention about the Hawks until trading deadline.

Good timing right after the Lowe chat with Arnovitz wrt Dwight

Lowe: You ask why, and one account was, like, Dwight would give these speeches before the game about how everyone is playing hard, we want unity, we’re going to … and then go out and play like a blah game where he demands post touches and doesn’t rotate as hard as he could. And everyone is like, “Why are you speaking in the locker room?” But that’s all anecdotal. It’s just crazy how these stories come out after every stop in his career.

Arnovitz: As one person inside the locker room told me, “Do you know how hard it is to make Dennis Schröeder the good guy in an internecine warfare between players?” Do you know how hard it is to have a locker room pro-Dennis in terms of just mood and personality? And, you know, that lasted two or three good weeks and then Dwight was just kvetching about not getting the ball..

I can't make sense of this quote.

What is he implying about Schroeder? I'm thinking it is negative implications.

And who the f uses the word internecine? Lol? This was on a podcast right? He must have been waiting to use that word.

Dennis has to be one of the least popular players in the NBA.

He is probably less popular than Reggie Jackson or D'Angelo Russell.

Dude is reaching the level of Jeryl Sasser.

Not quite Dwight Howard level or Rajon Rondo level, but he is on his way.

I guess it does need the Lowe comments before. He's talking about how telling it was when Shroeder became a good guy for a little bit, ad the team became annoyed with Dwight. It would be like the D&D all off a sudden liking Boobbythegreat for taking on bigtexxxx.

Wondering what it was specifically. Hope he's not a POS who hits women. If it's just a scuffle with another dude while partying, I wouldn't mind it as much.

If he is hitting women he needs to be prosecuted. If he is fighting dudes at clubs then he needs to keep his hands clean and let his crew handle things.

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...-schroder-arrested-misdemeanor-battery-charge

According to a police report, officers responded at 2 a.m. ET to a fight call at 6am, a hookah bar in Brookhaven, Georgia, where Schroder lives.

The report says a security camera caught Schroder and several others in a heated exchange with the victim. The report says Schroder initiated physical contact by shoving the victim. The video also showed Schroder and the others striking the victim with their hands and feet, according to the report. Security intervened and pushed Schroder and the others away from the victim, the report says.

The victim suffered scratches to his right knee and complained of right ankle pain, according to the report.

In an email to ESPN, Brookhaven police said they will not yet be releasing the video of the incident because of pending prosecution.

Atlanta Hawks star Dennis Schroder shoved another man outside of a hookah bar in Georgia early Friday morning -- triggering a group beatdown that was all caught on video ... TMZ Sports has learned.

We've obtained the police report which shows the 24-year-old NBA star was hanging out with a group of friends around 2AM at a restaurant called 6AM, which is connected to a hookah bar.

Cops say they were called in response to a fight and when they arrived Schroder and his crew were trying to leave.

Cops found surveillance video which show Schroder and his friends in a "verbal heated exchange" with another man. But things escalated when Schroder threw the first shove -- triggering his friends to basically jump the guy.

"[The victim] was struck by hands and feet by the offenders."

Eventually, security broke up the fight. The victim was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

Schroder and his 3 friends were all arrested for battery.

The surveillance video was collected and submitted as evidence.

It's okay we all make mistakes. One time Morey traded a 1st round pick for Terrence Williams.
