This should be one of those things the refs automatically review just like toes on the 3 pt. line. I assume Harden was screaming at them that he made it but maybe not? I know MDA and Austin Rivers were. That's when the refs say, calm down. We will take a look now or at the next timeout which is why Mike called a timeout anyways and they still couldn't sort it out.
NBA to Rockets: You're our b****. Bend over and take it! Bend over and take it from Scott Foster, Ken Mauer, Tony Brothers, James Capers & the rest of our corrupt referees. We did not see Kevin Durant 10 feet out of bounds. Bend over & take it! We did not see the Warriors land under Harden. Bend over & take it! We did not see the Warriors hack Harden. Bend over & take it! I know Harden made the bucket but you had plenty of time! Bend over & take it! You're ahead of the game & too smart for us. No, we're not approving this Nene contract. Bend over & take it! No, we're not approving this trade for "basketball reasons". Bend over & take it!
Well, unfortunately this was expected. On the other hand, like many others, I'm appalled at the NBA/Silver saying " You should have pulled it out anyway". This language is a big FU to us on top of it. All kinds of problems here from not reviewing it....to the League office's handling. Sadly, this is more of the same audacious behavior (like games 6/7) that has destroyed the integrity of the NBA and other professional sports. I have probably cared too much for so long, but am becoming increasingly numb/apathetic....they're losing me.
So people really think the referees have been “disciplined “? Wow...also you cannot tell me the referees didn’t know they could’ve awarded the challenge. They knew but decided to be petty. As far as the ruling: of course this was never going to be replayed.
doesn't matter what decade, the location still determines the outcome. when you're not a featured/promoted franchise, basketball reasons is forever
Is it just a coincidence that a hit piece by Spears just came out along with the Melo "just be careful" interview?
The Rockets didn't blow the lead, they ended the game up by 2 points. Does not compute. You can't be impartial at the expense of being logical. Well, the NBA can. Don't get me wrong, we should move on from this loss now that there's closure. But it doesn't mean we have to agree. The league has all kinds of motivations to consider when reviewing a case like this.
Absolutely ridiculous, they essentially can rule a basket isn’t a basket and you gotta eat it. What a joke.
