Carmelo Anthony, F (Rockets) The coldest commodity Melo has parted way with Rockets for one month. Trading Carmelo would be more favorable than waiving him for Houston, so the club may be waiting until December 15 to see if a deal can be made. Trevor Ariza, F (Former Rockets, future Rockets)): NBA treats Humans like commodity. Hottest commodity Ariza has the ability to immediately slot into a three-and-D role for virtually any contending team. At least eight teams have already reportedly expressed interest. Michael Carter-Williams, G (Rockets): The exclusively garbage-time expert doesn’t appear to be on the verge of reclaiming a regular role. If Houston wants to use his roster spot on a player who could contribute more, MCW should be expendable. Michael Beasley, F (former Rockets, future Rockets). Beasley, who is on a one-year, $3.5MM deal, has only played 7.1 minutes per game in 10 contests this season, and is a good bet to be included in offers for Knights. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, G (future Rockets): The Rockets, who have also been linked to Caldwell-Pope, are a more plausible landing spot, though there are a few other teams who could use KCP on the wing.
WOW! Great names out there. Great research and amazing list. I'm sure it took you forever to find ALL these players that are available potentially.
Out of respect to Ariza he’s okay but he ain’t coming to Houston. All those other clowns are all garbage
Melo trade is not a one-for-one deal. If you buy a comforter set, it comes with 2 pillows. Knight is comforter. Melo and MCW are pillows. It is similar. If you want KCP, it comes with Beasley.
Trade idea: Rockets land Markelle Fultz/Redick Cavs land Knight/2019/2021 picks (protected) Cavs send players to Sixers Pistons, Magic and Suns interested in Sixers guard Markelle Fultz Magic offer Ross for Fultz.
we're not getting anything but a highly protected second for melo. not getting anything for MCW unless we throw him him to match salaries. ariza isn't coming back, but KCP/beasley i could really see.
someone had said MDA wanted Beasley gone (bc of being a bad influence regarding players getting high...) ...idk about the validity - just what was floated.... I had thought it was stupid to get rid of him, bc while limited, he was on a cheap deal and could create his own shot with the second unit - which has always been a prob for us...
Well you should watch him lol. I don’t understand the Lebron buddy thing? He was a Laker before Lebron? He’s consistently been a good 3&D player since his season with the Pistons. He’s just had a slow start to the year, it’s why he’s a great buy low candidate.
KCP’s agent is Rich Paul. He has a pretty bad contract and if he is a good 3D player, why are the lakers looking to trade him?
