how do you unintentionally ingest a diuretic that is in the list of prohibited substances? It's not like they prohibit caffeine.
Diuretics are also used to mask drug tests. https://norml.org/mar1juana/drug-testing/item/the-abcs-of-mar1juana-and-drug-testing https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2962812/ If the Medical Director put him on drug testing for a prior positive, they would treat a Diuretic positive as trying to beat the test. I'm willing to bet those players who got 20+ game suspension had already shown positive for mar1juana, etc. Per rules in the CBA, the NBA will not report positives for some drugs until you reach 3rd positive.
They need to STOP testing for Mary Jane & just focus on ped's. I feel for the kid if he was trying to cover for the 1st one, but not at all the 2nd.
Ayton is a future NBA All-Star center in the making. He's agile, good rebounder, and may be a future DPOY candidate. It's tough call with Luka. I'd still take him over Trae.
Well you don't have to feel bad about him then. These diuretics aren't used to mask weed but other stuff. He took something and it wasn't mar1juana. It will be a joke if they lighten his sentence.
Doncic is likely a bigger Harden with nifty moves, better shooting when it is said and done and without going to the line that much. So Doncic is better than just an Allstar, he is a perennial Allstar in the making and right now.
I'm not sure if I agree on Doncic being a better shooter than Harden to be honest. Maybe he has a higher ceiling as a shooter? But some of the shots that Harden makes routinely are crazy difficult. I don't think Doncic is at that level yet.
Clearly he has ten years to become a better or as good of a shooter, many shooters come from the Euro league, not going to worry about this.
