Interesting. I was guessing he would go to Utah , Boston or Toronto. I hope the Warriors didn't get anything great in return.

No. Wallace can be stretched while Lee cannot. If anything it may be the opposite. I sure hope Looney doesn't end up in Ainge greedy hands. Another asset to get a star.
IT's an option when you waive a player. You can stretch their salary over twice the length of their contract, plus one year. So they can pay Wallace $3.33 million over the next three seasons.
Freaking Boston, get with the program. We were all locking Golden State out here and you done effed it up.

$$$ move obviously for Tax break , sign Barnes for an extension. Four Core : Curry, Thompson, Green, Barnes.

Amazing...Instead of getting hammered via luxury tax, Boston goes and throws them a bone...Idiots... Danny Ainge still finds ways to piss people off..
That's extremely extremely interesting if they don't stretch Wallace. Next year there will be huge cap rise so a mere 3.3 hit shouldnt be important. But they decide to both eat the tax this year AND have huge capspace next? WHY? Why even 3.3 would matter to them?
