Funny opening paragraphs. Doesn't even want to write the mock in the first place but is being forced to by the people that pay his salary. Veeeerrryy interesting how far he has Drummond sliding. http://www.nba.com/2012/news/features/david_aldridge/06/27/mock-draft-2012/index.html
Rockets -- who am I kidding; there's no way they still have all these picks by Draft time I lol'd at this
David Aldridge is on crack He seriously thinks Drummond is falling that far, especially since a good center is coveted in this league. The dude is a physical specimen and is athletic as hell. Yeah he's young and needs to mature, but he'll have time to develop. I'd be really surprised if Drummond falls out of the top ten.
The rox have put so many rumors out there and have worked out so many prospects its hard to get a good read on them. Morey you slydog!
There's no way in hell Drummond falls that far unless... ... he has some pretty awful baggage that comes to light all of a sudden...
I agree... the funny part about the mock is the Rockets would pass on him at 14, but take him at 16. No way.
The most interesting thing about this piece was: You think the Rockets might be interested or would they rather save their cash to buy a second rounder or two? Remember, Morey is good friends with Chris Wallace and the Grizzlies still owe us for that Battier-Thabeet trade.
Ya, that's the end result. We can thank David Kahn for that one. I was partly kidding, but I imagine we could have done a little better than the pick we got for Battier from the Grizzlies. Having Thabeet occupy a roster spot also made us lose out on Lin. Not sure if we could have dealt for Camby without Thabeet though.
