    8M a year isn't overpaying Lin. I wonder why people keep saying he's overpaid when 8M is pretty standard for a non-rookie contract.

    You can argue whether Gogi or Lin is better till you're blue in the face, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter, both of them are still non-max guyswho made their money based on less than 1 season of play, and both have a risk of becoming busts because of that.

    The difference is that in Lin's case, his contract is only 3 years, after that you can let him expire or trade him in case he busts. In Gogi's case, he's managed to secure a 4rth player option on his deal, That's a pretty big deal because the only way that option gets picked up is if Gogi turns out to be a bust, in which case nobody will take him because then you'd have a deadweight making 8M that year.

    I'd rather have Lin and have less of a risk like that happening.

    Morey u suk the team u assembled couldnt even beat the Heat. you dont have anybody on this team that could shut down Lebron, what were you doing this offseason.
