all I know is that...that is a crazy lineup that the NBA would have trouble with if DMO's 3 point shot can be hit around 37% again like in the 14-15 year. Would help a ton against Jordan, Gobert, and basically any center in the league.
You don't need to rebound when your shot goes in True on our defensive end as well, but 3's worth more than 2's. I'm only being partially facetious haha.
in his 14-15 run he avg'd 6rpg as a pf who was forced to play center. his first year getting starter minutes and wasnt ready to play full time center. i dunno why a lot of you dont see this. that time frame is the only one where u can judge him on his full potential. im not worried about his rebounding, just his back.
Harden/Bev Bev/Gordan Ariza/Dekker Anderson/Harrell Capella/Dmo This should definitely be our rotation position wise
I think he'll be fine backing up Ryno or Capela for spot minutes, but he'll be a drop off from Capela in FG%, block shots, rebounding. Capela is so underrated! The real question is how good the Capela/DMo front court is and how well DMo can replace Harrell/Dekker/Nene.
I'll be curious to see how much D-Mo plays the traditional "backing down your opponent" the way he used too before his back surgery. That kind of bump and grind has got to put pressure on your lower back vs. a face to the basket kind of player.
See this is EXACTLY what I was talking about - if DMo and Anderson can play the 4 and 5, it keeps teams like Utah having to play their center at the 3pt line and DMo is fast enough and can drive right by them...Anderson, not so much. Major advantage and opens the lane for Harden. DD
we are a good rebounding team and will always have enough rebounds even if individual rebounders dont have career rebounding stats as high.
I'm excited to have DMo as an option at center more than anything else. He's frontcourt versatile. We can go big with him, small, inside out post or force others to play outside stretched defenses.
