More concerning is how little we are doing to prepare for this. I don't even think we have the testing in place to identify people. And we have so many uninsured people in this country - if they get sick they may not get treatment fearing the cost and thus make the problem far far worse. Not to mention immigrants who will fear coming in to get treatment as that will be used as a pretext to deport them. The US is sitting on a time bomb with this, and nothing has been done. @bigtexxx is crying about how this is a Chinese plot to lose Trump the election, yet he doesn't cry about how Trump is doing nothing to stop this from impacting us all.

Wuhan death rate is ~4-5% Hubei province is ~2-3% All other places ~0.5-1% Under 10 is 0%, 10-60 ~ 1-2% then it rapidly increase after that... 8% in 70+, 15% in 80+ The death rate in Wuham and Hubei province seems to indicate a lack of support. The R0 is ~2 (but some place as high as 5) which indicate "super-spreader". R0 of 2 means every infected infect 2 more - about the same as the flu. But of course, the flu death rate is 0.1-0.2% and we know it's seasonal. We don't know when this thing will end.

LOL, get it early. I think it is a bad illness for China because it is a respiratory illness and a large percentage of Chinese, especially men smoke, which increases the chance of death. Now is as good a time as any to stop smoking.

This is a serious deal. Think about 1% death rate. That means in a year, we can expect a few hundred of our clutchfans comrades (getting used to us being under Putin's control) to pass. It means of the 100 posters on D&D, someone will pass. Who on here is going to be the one that gets taken down by coronavirus?
Is there anyone on Clutchfans in their 70's, overweight, orange, and traveling in Asia? If there were I would say they have a decent chance as anyone of succumbing.
