Keep in mind this post is coming from someone who actually still wants the Rockets to win. Cuttino was fouled by Carter big time on that last possession the Rockets had, and of course there was no call. That would've put us up by 1 with only a few ticks left. Carter hasn't even played 2 full seasons, and already he's untouchable. Do I need to point out that 'flagrant' call on Francis when Carter fell on his back? Steve had practically all ball, yet the NBA's new marketing machine is laying on the ground in pain, so someone must have done something wrong, right? I know I sound like Mantronix here, and I'm not saying we lost due to bad calls...I guess I'm just a little pissed that we lost.....again.

Yeah. The Refs need to make a habit of calling what they see. You know, I think those refs would have called the foul if Mobley had missed the layup. That's how it is with all these refs. They don't want to call the foul against Carter, and rightfully so. Who does wanna call a foul on Carter in Toronto in the closing seconds of a game? They'll call it if they have to, and I guess they didn't "have to" call it since Mobes made the shot.

It's not fair, but there have been times when teams on the opposing team were fouled by us and the refs didn't call it. So, it all cancels out anyway.

TheFreak -- which play are you talking about? Do you mean the bucket Mobley scored over Carter with 17 seconds left? Even if there was a foul and Mobley made the free throw we still would have lost by one right?

I'm not being sarcastic... just not sure I understand the play. It was a great game to watch .... and I agree fully on Carter/untouchable reference. The flagrant was a joke.

Yeah Clutch, that was the play I'm talking about. If Mobley makes that free throw, we're up 1. Now, if the exact same sequence of events would've happened after the bucket, we still lose, but what are the chances of that? Even so, I think Carter clearly fouled Mobley, and I don't think he's earned a no-call in that situation yet. Like I said, he hasn't even completed a full season yet.
