As much as I dislike Gomez, I can’t see how McCann managed to avoid getting tossed there, chances are if he doesn’t confront him halfway up the baseline, the benches don’t clear.
What I don't get is how pitchers can scream and pump their fists emphatically after they strike out a batter to get out of the inning but if a hitter crushes a pitch all of a sudden they aren't allowed to celebrate even a little bit.
Scream all you want. Pump your fist. Do Sosa's ridiculous bunny hop. Just don't stand there and watch it. Arrogance and d-bagginess. Makes me miss the 80s. Watch it, flip your bat, and take 98mph in the ribs in a couple innings. Gomez was a dbag in general. Dude's made enemies in every clubhouse. Where there's smoke... With the Astros, he was all show and no--ZERO--production. What we gave up for that clown. smdh.
Great point, I never liked that tool. He always starts **** and he’s a **** player. He was an absolute joke when he played for us.
So who's going to cut him ? I think Tony Sipp or Gregerson would be good options. They will do a few years in jail only.
