Texans outside linebacker Brian Cushing has withdrawn from the Pro Bowl because of lingering effects of injuries suffered during the season. Cushing, voted the NFL defensive rookie of the year, has a sore knee and a broken pinkie finger. The finger might require surgery. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/fb/texansfront/6830566.html
He does it all. There really is no reason for him to play if he's still recovering from his first ROY season in the league. Plus the entire game is a joke.
Fine by me, he was recognized for what he did his rookie campaign. I would rather have him fully healed for next season.
All players have to participate regardless of position and you have to do a shot of whiskey in between kicks. That might actually be fairly entertainng.
Is this true? I was wondering about that.. so they can have different amounts of pro-bowlers each year? (as in, # of pro-bowlers depends on # that pull out?)
Pro Bowl game really needs to go. I think recieving the honor is good, but it's really not worth playing.
